rv dump station reported closed 2010-08-01; the place as noted on the google map shows an area that has seasonal pit toilets installed. these do not constitute a dump site for r.v.'s! those camped there haul black waters away. the pits toilets are placed by volunteers to alleviate what in the past has been very unsanitary conditions, the defecation, anywhere, by visitors to the coral snorkeling beach. it was never intended that wheeled vehicles make use of these pit toilets, which must be rebuilt each year to keep the flies down and the human feces off public areas. rv's wintered there are not 'dug in'. it is policed by the rv'ers themselves, to a strict code. to repeat, this sensitive and important area does not permit dumping sewage at playa mora, the snorkeling beach on bahia tenacatita.
