There is potable water and non-potable rinse water available at a location 8 km (5 miles) south of Lac La Biche on Hwy. 36. To get there, you need to go southeast for 11 km (6.8 miles) on Elinor Lake Road, then go east for 18 km (11.2 miles) on Elinor Lake Road. Finally, you need to go north for 2 km (1.2 miles) to reach the lake.
