RV dump station reported CLOSED 2014-03-04; effective May 1st, 2014, Gainesville Regional Utilities (GRU) will be permanently closing the RV dump station located at the Alachua County Fairgrounds (2700 block of NE 39th Avenue), the Gainesville City Commission approved to close the RV dump station to reduce expenses associated with operating and maintaining the station, GRU installed a sign communicating the closing of the station on March 4th, 2014, the sign indicates that the site will be permanently closed on May 1st, 2014; public dump station Right outside the County Fair Grounds, across the street from the county jail
