Campground & Dumpsite Owner Guidelines

Hello, Sanidump Adventurers! Gear up to traverse the exciting terrain of camping and RV dump station reviews! Our diverse community of joyful travelers and outdoor enthusiasts make Sanidumps your go-to hub for campground listings and reviews. But remember, even the most thrilling adventures have a roadmap, so here’s a set of guidelines to keep our community as crisp as a morning in the mountains.

Creating Insightful Reviews

  • When you’ve personally embraced the wilderness at a campsite or utilized a dump station, your experience is of great value. Please follow these guidelines:
If it’s been more than six months since your visit, wait until your next starry night stay or dump station use to pen a review. Keep it timely!
  • Narrate your experiences about the campground or dump station you used, focusing on aspects like quality, cleanliness, amenities, and your interaction with the local fauna and flora.
  • Our platform is for reviews, not personal communications. If you have any concerns or issues, feel free to contact us directly. If a campground is closed or seems suspicious, let us know and we’ll check it out.
  • No spamming allowed: Posting repetitive or irrelevant content isn’t welcomed here.
  • Ensure your review is solely about the campground or dump station in focus. Got insights about a neighboring site? That’s great for your next review.
  • Consider the reader when drafting your review. Ask yourself, “What would the reader want to know?” Your review should be as clear as a tranquil lake.
  • Do you have useful information about a park you didn’t visit or a dump station you didn’t use? Use the Notes feature to share it.
  • Digital citizenship is important: Respect copyright laws and only post content you own or have the rights to.

Respecting Privacy and Maintaining Honesty

  • As a community, we appreciate honesty! If you’re an owner, camp-host, or staff member, avoid reviewing your own or affiliated campgrounds. Stick to facts and leave hearsay at the door.
  • Please respect the privacy of your fellow campers. Avoid posting personal information or identifiable photos of others. And remember, no photos of children in revealing clothing or without clothes, please!
  • The eligibility of your review counts! If you didn’t overnight at a campground or use a dump station, your review may be converted into a note. Use Notes for updates like closures or construction.
  • No hyperlinks are allowed in reviews or notes, but you’re welcome to share YouTube videos or blog posts in the relevant fields. Feel free to link your social media profiles on your profile page!

Promoting Respectful Interactions

  • Let’s keep it fair – only one review per household for each campground or dump station visit.
  • This is not an advertising platform: Please avoid self-promotion or selling goods and services.
  • Avoid using divisive, threatening, offensive, or abusive language. Profanity, hate speech, political, and religious debates are not allowed. Typing in all caps? Let’s keep it civil!
  • Keep things factual and up-to-date: If you notice outdated information, use the appropriate channels to report it rather than stating it in your review.
  • Use dignified language and maintain a respectful tone. Promoting illegal activities, rule violations, or neglecting conservation practices are not allowed. We may remove reviews that seem untrustworthy.
  • Everyone is entitled to their opinions. Avoid personal attacks or insults targeted at other users.
  • Disputes about a review should be handled respectfully. If you have an issue with a review, please contact us instead of starting a dispute in the comments section.
